Founded in 1978, IST (istsurface.com), formerly known as Canablast, is Canada’s largest manufacturer of surface treatment equipment, including sandblasting cabinets, blast rooms, paint booths, and automated surface treatment systems. To expand our product and service offerings, we have recently developed a complete line of solvent recyclers and industrial washers. We are currently seeking an Electromechanical Technician to join our Production team at our Saint-Eustache plant to perform assembly work.

Responsibilities

• Perform the assembly work of the various machines in the factory;
• Conduct tests on electrical and electronic equipment and components to verify continuity, current, voltage and resistance;
• Maintain, repair, install and test electric motors and electrical hydraulic and pneumatic control systems;
• Troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing industrial electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.

Requirements

• DEP in electromechanics or industrial mechanics or equivalent;
• Experience in mechanical, pneumatic and electrical assembly processes.
