How The Air Wash Separator Works?

As recovered abrasive media exits the bucket elevator, it enters the Air Wash Separator and falls through a controlled airflow stream. During this process, lighter particles such as dust, fines, and debris are carried away by the air stream and directed to the dust collection system. Heavier, reusable abrasive media continues downward by gravity and is returned to the media storage hopper for reuse.
